Allure of the road

Twisting, turvy alleys

Lead to a major highway

One that sets off into the sunset

One that leads the way.

And you follow it without a thought.

Your worries, anxieties

Your pesky little habits.

Your goals, your vision

The needless continuous fights.

They all dissapear as you hit the road.

Answers are in the journey

You have to look around for them

In those tiny smiles on the road

On those countless lives of gem.

You look at them and imagine.

Beyond the ones you have

Beyond the lives you see,

You see a lack of order

In how world appears to be.

It amazes you as you never thought of it.

A strange land awaits you

One you couldn’t possibly fathom

Countless new lives, unexplored

Beautiful buds about to blossom.

Is this the place to be- forever.

Allure of the road is for the bourgeoisie

There is no option but to return

While we keep running from present

While for the unknown, we yearn.

Perhaps you wake up from the dream.
